Community & Moderation

How rules, reports and appeals work on COMM-IT.

4. Community Rules

It is prohibited to post content that:

COMM-IT reserves the right to remove content that violates these rules and to suspend or delete the accounts of repeat offenders.

5. Moderation

Published content may undergo automated moderation (using AI systems) and be removed if it violates these rules or the law. When content is removed or an account is suspended, the user receives a notice stating the reasons for the decision. You may contest a decision within 6 months by writing to [email protected]: your complaint will be reviewed by a person (not solely by automated systems) and you will receive a reasoned reply. Users can report illegal or inappropriate content through the "Report" button: reports are reviewed diligently and the reporter is informed of the outcome. You also retain the right to turn to a certified out-of-court dispute settlement body or to the competent authority (Digital Services Coordinator) under Regulation (EU) 2022/2065 (DSA). COMM-IT cooperates with the competent authorities in cases of illegal content.
