1. Acceptance of the Terms

By using COMM-IT, you accept these Terms of Service. If you do not accept them, do not use the application.

2. Description of the Service

COMM-IT is an aggregator of news from public RSS sources that allows registered users to comment on articles. News content belongs to the respective publishers. COMM-IT acts solely as an aggregation and discussion platform.

3. Registration and Account

To comment you must register through one of the supported sign-in methods (e.g. Google, Apple, Twitter/X or LINE). You are responsible for the security of your account and for all activity carried out through it. Creating fake accounts or impersonating other people is prohibited.

4. Community Rules

It is prohibited to post content that:

COMM-IT reserves the right to remove content that violates these rules and to suspend or delete the accounts of repeat offenders.

5. Moderation

Published content may undergo automated moderation (using AI systems) and be removed if it violates these rules or the law. When content is removed or an account is suspended, the user receives a notice stating the reasons for the decision. You may contest a decision within 6 months by writing to [email protected]: your complaint will be reviewed by a person (not solely by automated systems) and you will receive a reasoned reply. Users can report illegal or inappropriate content through the "Report" button: reports are reviewed diligently and the reporter is informed of the outcome. You also retain the right to turn to a certified out-of-court dispute settlement body or to the competent authority (Digital Services Coordinator) under Regulation (EU) 2022/2065 (DSA). COMM-IT cooperates with the competent authorities in cases of illegal content.

News content belongs to the respective publishers. Users’ comments remain the property of the users, who grant COMM-IT a non-exclusive license to display them on the platform.

These Terms are governed by Italian law, without prejudice to the mandatory rules of the user's country of residence. For disputes with users acting as consumers, the courts of the consumer's place of residence or domicile have jurisdiction; in all other cases the Court of Lucca, Italy (Foro di Lucca) has exclusive jurisdiction.
